Think you’re a festive film fan?
Then you might have what it takes to become Reviews.org’s Chief Holiday Cheermeister. The smart home review site is looking for a streamer-in-residence who can help them determine the greatest Christmas movie of all time. Your job? Watch 25 holiday movies of your choice over the next 25 days. Then fill out a short post-movie survey, all from the comfort of home. Your reward? A cool $2,500 and year-long subscriptions to seven different streaming services (including holiday-centric Hallmark Movies Now). The site even promises unlimited hot cocoa breaks and a fast-tracked application to Santa’s “nice” list.
Any (Santa) clauses?
- You must be authorized to work in the US and have a device from which you can stream.
- Whether you make this your Demember job or a holiday side-hustle, the Cheermeister gig is an independent contractor role, meaning that $2,500 isn’t tax-free.
- The application also asks if you follow Reviews.org’s social channels (Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube), but doesn’t state that following any of the three is required to advance.
- An FYI to shy cinephiles: the Cheermeister must consent to have their name and image used in any publicity materials for the site.
Sound like a role you’d sleigh?
Then there’s no time like the present. Apply quickly to beat the 11:59 PM December 4 deadline. The winning watcher will be announced as soon as December 7, so maybe start prepping that holiday movie list, too.
